Born one of Chi-towns finest on March 13, 1972. He is signed to Kanye's G.O.O.D. Music label. Common released his first album called, "Can I Borrow A Dollar?" and tracks from it like "Charm's Alarm" and "Breaker 1-9" established him a lyricist with wit, street-smarts, and love for extended similes.
